    This has been my first La Plant novel. Granted I have the DVD box collection of all the Prime Suspect series, with Helen Mirren as Tennison. This read was enjoyable, I liked the way thecentral characters are fleshed out , their inter relations & their commitment to Langton & the murder squad. The villain Duffy/ Daniels was clearly defined & his illness clearly brought out , especially during the interview stages. I have enjoyed the character of Travis so much so I have already downloaded The black Dahlia & that in it-self says something!.
